Hey guys. I recently installed the Vararam CAI on my z51. I have now developed a whistle. I went over the installation to make sure that i do not have a leak. I also do not have a CEL. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have installed a Vararam on my Z51 as well, no whistle here daily driving. Haven't noticed one on full throttle applications either.

Yep, i have a whistle too. its the air coming in. Normal

I get asked if I have a turbo lol yes the whistle is normal.

My vararam whistles too. I assumed it was due to the air going in through the hood seam.

I've got no issue with it, I've read on several occasions that it will happen. My maf and map reads are fine so I'm going to let it be

Worst case scenario I guess it's whistling through some of the foam bits that we are to install when we install the kit that I could have goofed on.

I have no whistle on mine, then again I run headers/open NPP and my exhaust overpowers most noises
