Weird issue surging
2017 coupe automatic, 10200 miles.
This has happened 3 times now, and enough that it concerns me.
The selector is in the Sport setting.
The issue is as follows: I am driving along 25 - 40 mph and stab the throttle and immediately let off (like if someone cuts you off right after you start to accelerate) and within a second later, the engine surges and the car leaps forward, almost like lag. The surge is enough to cause concern about maybe hitting someone.
If I am driving and press the pedal to the floor , it shifts and accelerates just like you would expect.
Has anyone seen this?
