Hard Shift

Experiencing intermittent hard shifts from 1st to 2nd on 2016 Stingray. Most often seen when starting off slow as in a parking lot. RPMs will climb but transmission won't shift until higher than normal level.

at low rpm’s it will not shift to 2nd.It’s supposedly for fuel management.Give it more rpm’s and you won’t have any problems.
or if your in A parking lot don’t try shifting into 2nd.It will go to 45 mph or so til redline in 1st.

It should be covered under the powertrain warranty, take it in soon.

I have the same issue(s) and the dealer is replacing my transmission valve body.
