Hey Everyone,
I acquired my first corvette on labor day. I picked up a 2019 stingray 7spd. I am looking for an xpipe to use with my NPP exhaust. I found this one on corvettemods.com for $359. This is alot better of price than the $570 corsa xpipe.
My Question is does anyone have preference between this one from corvettemods or a borla xpipe? the corvettemods xpipe is 3" and the Borla is 2.75".
I would go with the two recommended brands (borla or corsa) because you know fitment will be spot on. I have the borla and fitment was perfect. Any x pipe will make the same power (you're deleting the secondary cats and running a straight through pipe) so airflow is going to be nearly identical for any x pipe. People why say one x pipe picked up more power than another are literally talking like 2 horsepower. And that can't even be measured accurately on a dyno under the most perfect and controlled conditions. In a nutshell, the corsa seems to sound a little raspier while the borla sounds a little deeper. Listen to a few videos and determine which sound you like better. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Adding a borla xpipe was my first mod. I have since removed and added headers, but loved the sound improvement. I did in the garage and wasn't the easiest, but not too bad. Hardest part was just getting rear slip fit joint apart.
I want to do the 60547 so bad, but someone local scared me due to a warranty fix that wasn’t covered. I can’t determine if they were pulling my leg or if it really happened. My common sense tells me that unmonitored cats do not negatively affect engine controls. Anybody have a definitive answer on this one?

I am determined to keep my warranty and have no fear of having an issue that could be caused by the Xpipe. It’s no different than those worried about installing an MGW shifter worrying about a transmission issue. There is no damage to the transmission that could occur that wouldn’t with the stock one. Deleting the secondary cats isn’t going to cause and engine issue.

does not effect warranty, no faults thrown. Do it its like a different car.
There is no engine control feedback loop post the secondary cats. O2 readings taken pre and post first set of cats only. The secondary set only act to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions
