I was thinking the same thing actually. I was wondering if the forum has an "expert" we can bounce questions off of.

I was thinking about doing a CAI, polished/ported throttle body, rear cat delete and larger manifold but I am not sure if that is the right combination or what else I am missing. It would be nice to get some expert opinions of a calculator if you will to figure these things out since there are so many conflicting opinions on the forums from every day users.

Not a ton. 30ish tops. But also better throttle response, etc. The stock exhaust manifold and on flow pretty well.

I agree 30 to 40 max all in the tune If I was the OP and will not be doing no more add ons on mods. I would go with the LG step down headers on the car.. Robert

Installing Kooks headers + their 3" x-pipe + HP Tuners and a good tune was an absolutely noticeable seat of pants for me. Course the sound is insane and will make it feel faster . Prepare to statch the **** out of your hands and arms getting them on but it's absolutely worth it. Probably $600 labor to put on I would imagine.

We have been seeing gains of around 30rwhp with long tubes and a tune. Intakes haven't made very much power on these cars but when you combine them with a ported throttle body we usually see another 6-8 rwhp. The MSD intake manifold has been producing solid gains on bolt on cars. Generally 15-20rwhp and even more with a bigger throttle body such as the 103mm. We will have a ported 95MM LT5 option to go with it in the next couple of months which should pair up nicely. A flex fuel tune with some E85 can net you another 20-25rwhp. Now is a good time to buy if you're looking for bolt ons. Stop by our site and use code VETTE. Just about everything is on sale. If you're local we can handle the installs and tunes for you guys as well.
