DSC Sport has fantastic news for all late model 2018+ C7 owners with the release of the new firmware update for the DSC Sport V4 controller for fully functioning compatibility!



The new DSC Sport V4 controller features:

• Dual CAN chip for compatibility and enhanced data and messaging possibilities
• More PTM shock modes
• Smaller controller design for a compact and easier installation
• Redesigned connector for easier installation

This means whether you are a 2019 ZR1 owner or a 2018 Base model owner with MRC, the DSC Sport V4 controller will work for you!

With new data and messaging possibilities, we have enhanced the functions of the DSC Sport V4 controller with display messaging to display Launch Control activation and more. We are developing new calibration files for the ZR1 and Z07 by shock dynoing those dampers to revise the calibration tables so stay tuned for those to be released at a later date.

Does the Controller v4 work for 2018 plus models only, or will it work for my 2015 C7 Z51 as well??

Pretty certain it's backwards compatible.

Just make sure to indicate the MY of your vehicle when you order to be sure you're getting what will work on your vehicle.

Have there been any new calibration files released? Do we use the v3 files for the v4, or just use this firmware update (that I assume comes canned with a calibration)?

When you update the firmware it should also load the latest calibration. I'm not aware of any difference in calibration based on hardware rev so if you need to reload I would just go with the latest on the site.

For a 2018 can you buy a v3 and do the v4 upgrade instead of buying a v4?

Negative. The v4 has physically different hardware.
