Hello, just had my A6 2014 serviced at my trusted local place that I have used for years. Trans fluid and filter was changed as well as rear diff. Car drove great for a couple days then today I heard a weird noise in the drive thru at a fast food place. Then car wouldn't go into gear/slipping by the time I pulled out. I WAS experiencing a slight vibration at low speeds before the trans fluid and rear end fluid change and I still feel it from time to time (tire maybe) but no other issues that I think could be remotely linked to the trans.
Think they under filled or over filled perhaps? My Trans is still under warranty but don't want to take it to GM till I'm sure it wasn't some messup at the shop.
I am going to do that first. I am just worried now, the sound is what worries me. But I think it’s fine either way. I have the powertrain warranty so I think either way I should be fine - well I assume it is still under warranty. It's 5 year 100k but it's a 2014 so I guess it depends when it was purchased?

Actually, the warranty is effective when the dealer placed the car in service which is not necessarily when it was sold.
I agree with taking back to the place that screwed it up but it might be best take it to the dealer immediately as it would suck big time to take it in next week and find out you are one day out of warranty!
Whelp sure hope it's fill level - I called the dealer and the powertrain expired in October. I thought that might be the case since my car is #396 so it was a very early '14.
