Hello, new to the C7 world after upgrading from my C6. I'm loving just about everything about it, but I've noticed over bumps that the steering column seems to shake, almost what I would picture cowl shake to be. My C6 convertible was solid as a rock and didn't exhibit this. I also seem to notice it more when the targa roof is removed. I put it up on a lift and inspected the front, all seems to be tight. Is this normal for the C7?
As I understand what you're perceiving, it is not something I've experienced in either my '17 or '18. I agree, I'd be concerned about the history of your car (you don't give any info--year, miles, service/repair history, etc.). I recall seeing figures of the increased rigidity of the C7 over the prior Vette, but not the actual numbers. Something seems to be amiss. Good luck!
Thanks for your responses. As far as background is concerned, it was one owner has 40k miles on it, and a clean CarFax. I'm going to get the service history on it from a dealership.
