After engine start
Has anyone had this issue or problem? Just after engine start there is a surge or thump as if the transmission was put in gear. Even though it has not been put in gear can be felt and heard. The Corvette is a 2019 stingray with 8 speed automatic.

Could be the exhaust hitting something if it's not secured properly. I've had the rear of the car gutted for a and you'll hear some strange things but never had one like you've described

Thanks for the responses I can say for sure it is not the exhaust. This surge and thump is in the drive-train as it feels just like if you put your trans in gear with your RPM's higher then normal.
