Technical question? Rear camera view not switching quickly
I hope this is the correct forum site to ask this?
I have a M7 transmission (2015 Z51)
I go into reverse and all is fine. But when I shift out and go into 1st the 'rear view' stays on for a couple of seconds; even after I start moving forward. Is this normal?
I did not seem to notice this until after I did a 'map' upgrade/update.....which I would not think would affect something like this? But it is a software type of thing so maybe some other 'software' got affected??

Seems normal. I rent cars monthly due to traveling for my job and pretty much every make and model has a slight delay.
The only worry is if gets stuck or if the rear camera doesn't come on at all. The camera (and reverse lights) are triggered by a sensor in the transmission that (like anything) can go bad occasionally. Luckily its a cheap and easy fix which is detailed here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...iy-fix-m7.html
Thanks all
I guess my problem is that this vehicle is 'new' to me. I've only had for about 5 months now. I am still getting used to "ALL" the features it has ...... over the previous Vettes I've had. This is my first GM(Vette) camera vehicle. I've had other car makers and they did not seem to have the 'delay' I seem to notice.
