Does DSC provide a means to diagnose suspension error codes through their controller? I took my car to a dealer after getting the suspension error come up intermittently and they said their tool can't read the DSC controller.
I don't know but if they post something I'd like to know how it's done.
So to give you an update, they do. Download their tuning software at their website. You'll need the micro USB to plug from your laptop to the DSC controller. Download the manual because it's not super straight forward how to pull the diagnostic codes. You can clear the codes as well but depending if your warning light is serious or not it may just come right back. I spent all night and this morning figuring this out.
Here's the short version. Download their tuning software from their website and connect the controlled to the USB cable. Go to Tools - Codes & Configuration. Click Start, then in the box labeled "write out" type 'i' and hit enter. In the "read in" box you'll see any diagnostic codes. Note it's easier just to copy them from the text box and paste in to notepad so you can read them more easily.

Wasn't the DSC Controller supposed to be accessible wirelessly?
Wasn't the DSC Controller supposed to be accessible wirelessly?
Yes but it can be finicky and I don't think what I posted even works over wireless since it's a direct command to the serial port. Just run a USB cable from the washer fluid cap down to the controller and leave it plugged in.

So you can reach the port on the controller from the top of the car?
You can feed the wire to it from the top but you have to reach in by the fender liner to get to the controller.
I decided to leave mine connected. Fitted a small plastic sandwich bag over the wire where it goes into the controller, and have the cable coiled and inside a plastic baggie sitting behind the power brake area.
