Default Factory navigation upgrade

I have a 2014 C7 L2 which did not come with factory navigation. I see a company that offers a unit for sale that upgrades but does not say if it will add navigation to a car that does not have it already built in. Is it possible to add navigation to a C7 that does not have it?
I get a little navigation icon on the radio but I believe that is for OnStar use only. I know my phone would be better but I would like it built into the car.

If you can't pull up a map and enter destinations, then you don't have the built in NAV. The Thumb drive will NOT help you in any way. The only way to add NAV is to update the HDMI unit and add an antenna for the GPS. Both are easy to do but can be expensive. Guessing on $800 to $1,000. Dunno, might be cheaper. Try this: https://www.gm-navigation.com

What Elmer said. But your 2014 doesn't have CarPlay or Android Auto either so to use your phone you need to have a holder and look at the phone screen. Not optimum. You might be able to fix this by updating your car's infotainment hardware to 2016+ but that will be $ and intrusive. Or you could trade it on a 2019 while the deals are hot. Seems like a good excuse as any!

I have my HMI and HD radio module for sale from my 2014 Stingray 3LT. I upgraded to the 2016+ radio. It doesn't have Carplay/AA but has the factory Navigation and HD radio. I also just updated the Navigation with the latest update. It will be about half the cost compared to upgrading to a 2016+ radio. Please PM me if interested.

If he only wants the NAV, this is a good deal. If he wants car play and that other stuff, then its the $900 thingie. Still would need to get the GPS antenna to plop into the dash for it to have the NAV function.

Yeah, I’m only looking to get about $275 for it.

Update. I purchased the 699 package from Anthony's company. Includes the antenna. It is used unit but it it going on used car so saved several hundred bucks.
The next challenge will be the installation. They are suppose to send some instructions and links to YouTube videos with the unit.
I know this does not have Car Play but gets me basic nav in the car with a fresh data base. Stay tuned.

You could’ve had mine minus the $30 antenna for $275+ shipping. Installation is not that bad. It looks more intimidating than what it actually is. The hardest part is installing the radio module on the passenger side.
