So, I'm going to throw you all for a loop...I'm looking at the possibility of purchasing either a new, or used (no older than a 2016), Z51 car. However, considering the rough roads where I live, I'd like a softer suspension. Has anyone out there done the reverse of what most have done, and replaced their Z51 springs and shocks for non-Z51 units? I'm fine with staying with the Z51 sway bars. Any help would be really appreciated.
Make sure you get the updated Chevy Performance suspension programming for $350 from the dealership, it improved the ride quality immensely in Tour and Track modes.
Yes indeed, check this for sure. But the Z51 update does not change Track mode. Only Tour and Sport... but still worth getting done.
