Factory NPP exhaust
Good Evening,
Wanted input on what most thought of the NPP Factory exhaust. In other words for the price, is it worth having/paying for?
Thanks in advance!

My GF has it on her 19 Stingray. It was one of the “had to have” options for her. It is nearly as loud as my C7Z when both are in track mode. If you’re not planning on adding an aftermarket exhaust and like to have control of the exhaust note at your fingertips, it’s a great option to have.

Get the NPP as you cannot retro fit it . The stock exhaust is way to quiet but with the NPP you get the best of both worlds , quiet when you want and loud when you want to play
If its not loud enough you can always go with a catless X pipe and a mild to wild switch slaved to your home link buttons and once again , when you get tired of the noise ... just close them and it will be as quiet as your father's Buick ...

Had the NPP on my C6. Enjoyed it for a few years then replaced the cans for Billy Boat Fusion for a little more note. Ordered my newest C7 with NPP. Immediately replaced the X-pipe to make her a little more vocal. Sounds pretty good. Still wished it had just a little deeper rumble but need to have someone do a drive by so I can hear from the pedestrian view. Depending on that, there may be a set of Billy Boat Fusions on ordered in the future. I have the mild to wild on mine linked to the visor homelink. Stays open 99% of the time unless, "the wife wants to hear herself talk." Then it goes into stealth mode. Nice option too if you want to stay friendly with the neighbors until on the open road. Just wished the NPP came with a little more volume from the factory.

Would not have a C7 without NPP. If you want a deeper louder sound you can add the Borla S-Type Axle Back System as I did to my 2019. I went with the ceramic black tips but they come in bright as well. Love the looks and sound.

My car has NPP on it, with valves open the outside pipes get real dirty real fast. Sounds ok but I want something louder. I am going with a Borla Xpipe with rear cat deletes and BB Bullets with speedway tips. (I'm hoping they will stay cleaner). If I dont like the sound I can always put the NPPs back on.
If I was ordering from the factory, I would skip NPP and go after market.

Since you asked, I left that need in high school. Worth less than zero to me. But, to each his or her own.

I wouldn't have bought one without NPP. But I have mine set up to be in the loud position 100% of the time regardless of drive mode and it just isn't that loud... so in a way it wasn't worth it since I never change it to quiet. But a standard quiet exhaust would be too quiet, so there you are.
