Does anyone have knowledge of Hypertech, Diablo or other programmers?
Do they work?
Are they worth it?
I am looking for a little more performance and better throttle response
There's a ported throttle body that looks good for a few ponies. Diablo tune can help too. Hypertech is expensive and you need to know what the hell you are doing to use it to tune the car.
If it says Granatelli on it, save your money.

I did a Diablo tune on my Suburban. Easy and painless and well worth the money. I agree with the previous sentiments about the Granatelli. I just wish I didn't have first-hand (albeit ancient) experience on that one.
You seem to have several units that work with the C7.
What unit do you recommend?
It depends on your needs (assuming you were asking me )
The i3 is a great device that supports custom tuning, has preloaded tunes and adjustable parameters, and is priced right.,
if you are looking for something with a monitor display, the T2 is the answer for sure.

I have The SCT X4 power flash that my local tuner uses for custom tunes and canned tunes over the Diablo. Yes they work, there is a lot you can change. shut off skip shift, change your engine fan turn on temps and speed, tune and change specs, redline etc. Will sell you mine for 1/2 price of new $200. It is ready to go as I reinstalled the factory tune in my car before I sold it, so the tuner is not married and can be used in any Gm car and others 1996 to 2017.
