Wheel installation lift
First I bought a cheap motorcycle scissor jack, that will come in handy anyway because I have a motorcycle. Then I made a small rolling dolly out of a piece of 2 x 12 I had laying around plus some casters from the box store. Put the jack on that and it rolls around easily.
Then I made a wheel roller platform out of a piece of 3/4" plywood, some 1 1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe and some hardware I had laying around, including some threaded rods, steel brackets, and nylon lock nuts. There are lots of ways to approach this piece.. could use a piece of 1/4" steel plate instead of plywood... could use ready made industrial transfer rollers like this or similar: https://www.ultimationinc.com/replac...r-bracket-set/.They are cheap... but I already had the other stuff so I figured I'd just use it.
Measurements for the roller platform are approximately as follows:
Plywood: 11.25" x 16.5"
PVC roller: 1 1/2" x 10.75" (including end caps)
Threaded rod: 1/2" x 12.5"
Roller center to center= 15.5"
These measurements aren't totally critical, you could alter them and it would still work. Main thing to watch for is if the rollers are too far apart the tire will bottom out on the platform and not roll.
This setup will work for C7 wheels with the car lifted to the high position on a quickjack. Smaller rollers or a piece of iron for the table would gain more clearance. The dimensions above will work for wheels somewhat smaller than C7 and larger than C7, although really tall truck tires might be a little tippy.

I have some wheel dollys that are similar: https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-hy...y-2pc-set.html However they are bit too narrow for the C7 rear tires. They are normally used to lift and move a car around a shop but I just used them as an aid to remove / install wheels. They have rollers built in and a foot pump. They are just too heavy and bulky so I've basically stopped using them.
I actually think you could eliminate the motorcycle jack if you just build the platform at whatever height your wheel are once your normal jack stands are locked in place. I am not getting any younger and lifting wheels is not doing my poor back any favors
