Default Cleaner brake pads

Suggestions for low dust brake pads? Rotor friendly, non corrosive dust, street use only. Thanks.

Replaced my front pads 2019 GS with steel rotors with Autozone's best ceramic gold low dust pads for 59.95. On my car for 2000 miles, no issues, no brown rotors, and very very little dust. Used a 2018 GS for application as there was no 2019 application.

Any chance you would have their part #?
. They show about 6 different ones that fit, however the ones thatr specify ceramic do not have gold in title.
with Gold in title says they are semi-metallic. or does semi-metallic equal ceramic?
Thanks,

Thanks,
The front brake pad part # for steel rotors is DGC1405 Duralast Gold Cmax brake pads at autozone and my apology regarding price, they are $69.99 not 59.99.

Are the 1521s good for occasional track use and mainly street use? Or should I be using some other model? I'm coming up on a brake pad replacement, considering the Carbotechs but with mixed street (90%) and track (10%) use, none of the products from Carbotech seem to fit me. I might have to go with OEM pads if that's the case and bear another few years of brake dust.

From Post #4: Last sentence of 1521 pad description. "Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use."

Yeah, that's what i meant when I said none of the Carbotech products seem to fit me. They're either NOT recommended for track use or NOT recommended for road use. It seems like I have to stick with OEM pads for dual use.

Any dual use pad will be a compromise. Dust and squealing is a trait of racing pads.

On my previous car (350Z) I ran EBC Yellows as dual use and they were OK. Also tried some Hawk pads that were really noisy on the street. So for the C7 Z51 I didn't want to mess around so went with PowerStop Z23 for street and Raybestos ST-43 for track use. Swap over isn't too bad... it takes longer to get the car on jack stands then replace the pads.

You don't want to run 1521's on the track. The convenient thing about them though is the compounds are compatible with the XP series of track pads so you can swap back on forth, which I do often.

Thanks for the info on Power Stop brake pads!
I have a 2019 Grand Sport I bought back in June and the only complaint I have is the brake dust.
I just ordered both front and rear pads from Summit Racing. They beat Amazon on price.
Looking forward to a lot less time cleaning my wheels!

Are there any issues with pad material compatibility? If switching from the stock dusty pads to either the carbotech or powerstops, is burnishing the rotors required/recommended? Just bolt on and go?

I'm the second owner but assume they're original. 47K on them now. If they've been replaced, at least 10K.

At 47k on the rotors I would get new ones if its 10K than you should have no problem you will need to clean them up very well like 60 grit sand paper and brake clean.
