I have a 2017 stingray, while I was driving it yesterday it stalled on me sitting at a red light..I started it up and it said reduce engine?
I pulled into a parking lot turned off the car and struggled to turn back on? After 3 attempts the car turned on but engine reduction stayed on and could only drive at a crawl.. power of the car was gone, thankfully I was only 5 mins from home.
this is where it get even more wierd.. engine light goes on and oil temperature starts to jump up and down. I pull into my driveway and it says shut off car no oil?
2 hours later I try and start my Vette and it won't crank? My battery seems to be almost dead? I forgot to mention it is also stuck on tack mode.
I put on my factory trickel charger on and it took 4 hours of it plugged in to be able to start the car up.
still shows reduced power, engine light is on and the oil gauge dropped agian.
I've shut the car off and reattached the trickel charger. I definitely have a battery issue.
is this a serious issue with the engine or is the cause of weak battery?

More than likely a battery issue (or maybe even an alternator issue not charging the battery)
You should replace the battery all together and have the alternator checked to make sure it is charging properly. You must eliminate the obvious first (replacing the battery) before continuing on with any further diagnosing or guessing.
A 2017 should still be under warranty so why don't you just take it to the dealership since you are getting a lot of troubling different alerts and warnings. Changing the battery is a $160 expense and it might not even be the battery, I rather spend $50-$100 and get a professional diagnosis at the dealership on a 70k car to find out specifically what is wrong but again, I would think it should be under 36 month factory warranty?
Yes, start with battery AND clean battery posts and connectors. You might also wish to disconnect the ground cable at the battery for a half-hour or so, reconnect, and see what you have. If all is not good (and, won't be is anything "real" is wrong), it's off to the stealership, since I doubt a code-reader will clear all the stuff you are seeing set. Best of luck!
