Default Carbon ceramic rotors C7

Hey - I’m new to the forum so I’ll probably mess up this post. Got a question on new rotor replacement. I have the ZO7 package , 17 grand sport. Big carbon ceramics , only 10k mi and had small cracks in the rotors . Dealer replaced under warranty , that was great. Brought the car home and looked at the rotors , noticed the holes in the rotors were not clean holes but already had that thick crust, dust in the holes. Shouldn’t new rotors have clean holes ? I always hit the rotors with water pressure and cleaned rotor holes monthly, keeping them from clogging up. Need advice please. TY.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Not sure how long it takes for the dust to build up but it isn't long.

I have a 2017 GS w/Z07 CCB. I have never noticed any stuff in the holes. I show my car and always keep it very clean, but I doubt I would ever clean the little holes in my rotors.

Yeah, mine don't get filled with debris. In fact, there's so little dust that I rarely have to wash my wheels.

I have around 3500 miles on mine and I have never noticed any actual dust build up in the holes but I have noticed a few of the holes have chipped sides. Not really that bad but not sure if maybe some sand or a small rock got caught in the hole at some point. That said when I first saw it I thought it was dust in the hole. Maybe Bill Dearborn might be able to shed some light on this.....thanks in advance Bill.

Sorry first time uploading some pictures....not the clearest!!!!
