Default Fuel pump issue, please help

So I had an LT4 pump and LT4 injectors installed on my 14 stingray base along with a supercharger, long tube headers and meth injection. It went on the dyno today and it would only get fuel pumping at 70 psi and this thing should be close to 3000 psi. Do you think this was an install error or is the pump defective? Not sure if anyone else was having these problems during their swap but my tuner said they gotta take it apart again to see, I’m so frustrated right now.

Neither. How are you measuring the output of the high pressure fuel pump?

my tuner said low side was fine but high pressure pump wasn’t producing the fuel needed to dyno when he strapped it in and it was going into limp mode.

If the pump wasnt shimmed properly it might affect the output pressure.

If the hpfp was only pumping 70psi the car wouldn't likely run at all. How familiar is the tuner with gen 5 vehicles?

they’ve done a lot of lt1 and lt4 cars, both vettes and Camaros, pretty reputable shop up in CT.

Still don't buy only 70psi of output and the car still behaving to any degree. Would love to see the logs.

Yes, my car is @ 300psi at idle on the high side. Not sure how its running @ 70psi.

EDIT: When its cold out I have seen it idle @ 500-600psi even on startup.

This is a less likely but it COULD be in the tune... but also what the other people are saying could be true. But you could also get a bigger cam with a bigger fuel lobe
