Default Tire sizing question??

Hey guys,

I just got a set of Signature SV502 in 19X11 front and 19X13 rear. So I plan to run a NITTO NTO5R 345/30/19 rears. Can someone recommend a tire size up front for the 19X11 wheel. Signature said most run a 295/30/19 up front with a 345/30/19 in the rear.

I would like to stay with NITTO but they do not make a 295/30/19 so my question is can I run a 285/30/19 on a 19X11 wheel without any problems? and what about a 285/35/19 up front. I'm not tire size expert and I have done some comparisons on a tire size calculator to see the difference in the tires. I just don't want to order the wrong size.

Any input/help would be great.

I'm running 19x10.5 with Michelin PSS 295/30's and 19x12.5 with 345/30's

I got the tire suggestion from Luke P at Tire Rack

and then KHOA at SIGNATURE Suggested the Wheel Width's

Curious how/why you chose those width's before you had your tires
nailed down ???

I knew which rear tires I will run just having trouble finding a size in NITTO to run. I am not opposed to running two different brand just asking if i could get away with the 285/30 or 35 up front. Signature recommend for a C7 Z06 19X11 and 19X13. There are plenty of 295/3019 out there was just hoping to stick with the same brand tires. I have a set of Toyos R888 on the car in 345 /30/19 but to dam noisy. I had NT05R on my 2013 ZR1 and they were excellent tires.

Thanks for replying.

That is what I am running the 295/30/19 but you will not be able to lower your car ALL the way down with the 295 on the front IT WILL rub the inter liner big time. I had to raise my car from all the way down to able 2/3 back up on the front bolts to keep it from rubbing. Plus had to pay to get the car relined. Robert

Robert Miller, I am also running 295/30-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on SIGNATURE 19x10.5 et41 Wheels
345/19 on 19x12.5 et61 Rear (Do NOT Copy my Offsets Without Contacting Me)

My 12' Grand Sport IS LOWERED quite a bit (cant recall exactly) and I have NO rubbing.......(Front Left is
barely touching/rubbing inner plastic when turned in front of tire).

Thank Robert,

Mine is lowered all the way down on the stock bolts can you PM me a pic if you can of where your bolts are placed at and your fender heights? I am running the R888R 345/30/19 rears on the car now on another set of wheels and I do get some rub when I hit big dips and the car squats. Do think raising the rear up some with the bolts will help with that?

The rear is lowered all the way down on the stock bolts to. I did have the EPS rack replaced by GM back in July and still need to get it aligned my dealer would not align it being it was lowered and had aftermarket wheels on it. They said they did not feel comfortable doing it and did not want to damage anything. I took that as there Tech must suck!

So I'm not sure this will help but just figured I'd add that I have grandsport reps.
19x12 rear running 345/30-19 nt05r
18x10 275/30-18 nt05

I think you could maybe get away with a 285 on a 11"width without looking to stretched.

Hope this helps.

Thank for the info I decided on a 295/30/19 up front on the 19X11 wheel. I may get some rubbing on full turn that's the feedback I have gotten form others running the 295 up front. I wanted the larger front tire foot print but over all the set up look amazing.

All good, and my C7 made a bit more power than a Zr1.. so theres that. The best tire I ran was a 325/30/19 Mickey thompson ET Street. I ended up going Z06 widebody in the rear as well. The car has been sold.

Car I was trying to reply to only made 580 wheel and wanted a 325/30/20 r888r which is way over kill. Mine is stock and my buddys is just under 800. He’ll be switching to a 17 this winter as we’re now putting a 2650 on the car in aims for 1000-1100 whp.

Apart from other factors, here are recommended tire/wheel combos...
