Default Airbag wires

The airbag went off on the steering wheel on my 2019 Stingray. The heat melted/hardened the plastic plugs that go into the airbag unit. When I removed the unit the wires came lose from the plastic plugs. There is a blue and a black wire on the right and a red and a tan wire on the left. Does anyone have a picture or diagram showing the wires position in the plugs? Need some help. Can’t find anyone on the net.

When they go off, you're supposed to replace the clockspring, which also comes with the wires for airbag. Those wires are meant to be replaced as such after a deployment.

I am a 35 year veteran multi body shop owner & have been replacing airbags ever since the first one came out in the late 80s. The plastic plugs that you are referring to come with the airbag clockspring (the round ring type plastic piece)directly behind the steering wheel. This part is relatively inexpensive,i think around $60 or $70 bucks & is easy to replace. When you replace it be sure to remove the negative battery cable,as with working on any of the airbag system. This part has wound up wiring inside it so it is important when replacing it to not let the part turn so that it wont come unwound.(just turn it enough to replace it.You will also have to change your crash impact sensor & have your airbag control module reset, for this I send mine to MY AIRBAGS IN GEORGIA,you can google it to get the phone number they have a 24 hour turn around time & will cost you about $50dollars instead of around $400 to $500 to replace it. I hope this information will help. If you need any more info on the airbag system you may pm me or post it here. Thanks WA2FAST.
