Default Wavetrac eLSD question

Hey folks, I have a 2015 base stingray with a non-eLSD differential. I recently acquired an RPM built 2019 differential with a wavetrac unit. Since the 2019 diff has a eLSD case and is obviously no longer using the eLSD because of the wavetrac, will I have any issues bolting this into my base c7? If not, do the ports have to be plugged or is that a closed system from the rest of the diff? Thanks in advance

No one knows? From what I gather It will fit fine. But if I cap off the ports for the hydraulic lines should I fill that clutch pack area with dex 6 up to the fill hole? Or leave it empty since the wavetrac is doing all the work now?

I'm sure it would bolt in just fine but your best bet might be to ask RPM.

I did ask a guy at rpm. All he said was that they haven't tried it before and the clutch packs are still there but not active because of the wavetrac. I just dont know if I need to fill that clutch pack area with dex 6 because I dont know if there is a bearing in that area or if it's all supported by the carrier and gear oil.

Man that surprising they couldn't provide you with more info since they seem to be the go-to for all things trans/gear box related. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in.
