Yeah, I seem to recall seeing a thread or two from someone who did so, and one may have noted the minimum height needed. I suspect an "Advanced Search" for all C7 sections here might dredge it/them up. And, I doubt height would differ significantly for any brand of long-tube header, LG or otherwise.
I was going to do it with some wooden pilasters I built as I felt this was safer than jackstands but my buddy came through at last minute and let me borrow his Quick Jack

Dave, what header mfg did you choose, and why? Thanks, I always value your opinion.

Gary I went with a set of coated 1 7/8 Hooker headers with high flow cats /X pipe only because I got a smoking deal on them . The headers fit perfectly and do not hang down below the bottom of the car but I did have some problems with the CATS hitting the tunnel plate . Right now I have it spaced down with 1/4 inch spacers but I am going to buy one of those TSP tunnel plates that is bent down to clear their headers just for a cleaner look or I am sure I could loosen up all the clamps and use one of my jacks to massage it into place . As soon as it warms up it's on my list to fix
On my C6, I went with LG and everything fit perfectly except ... the header bolts always gave me fits trying to start them . I think the flange was not drilled correctly . They made great power
I recently installed Kooks 2" longtubes with off-road x-pipe in my garage with a stack of 2x12s under the rear tires and jack stands under the front. My garage has limited space as you'll see in the picture below. The job wasn't the most fun but it is possible.
I did a set of coated Hooker Shorty headers on mine with the quickjack as well. The shorty's connect to the factory down pipe and there is no cutting or welding involved. I'd recommend using ARP head studs instead of bolts. That way if anything is off you don't screw up the threads in the head.
I installed TSP long tube headers on 12 ton over sized jack stands up front and wheel cradles in the rear. Think the car was up 26”. I wouldn’t do it on normal 3 ton stands.

Blue how do you get your car up on those wheel cribs , I built a set , and I jacked the rear up in the center as I have a good 3 ton low profile jack , put the cribs under the rear but now when I go to the front I have to use a jack on each side to lift the car , is that what you did ?
I had to bring the car up in stages. I had the front wheels on race ramps, then used a floor jack on each side of the car and jacked up the rear of the car from the sides of the car just infront of the rear tires. Think I used a few hockey pucks to get extra height to get the cradles under the rear tires, I had to jack from side to side to get it up evenly. Then I jacked the front up from the cross member under the engine. I had to use a few hockey pucks under the cross member to get extra height, I pulled out the front race ramps and put the 12 ton jack stands under the front side lifting points. I reversed the process to lower the car.
I hear they are difficult to install yourself, esp. long tubes, but obviously can be done..
Not difficult, just a lot more stuff to take apart than say a C6 . My C6 was a breeze to install headers on . Maybe 5 hours start to finish. My C7 , now I did take my time , took 2 days ....
Just about anything can be done at home in a garage if you're determined enough. The higher you can get it in the air the better for installing the headers. Some headers will require you to take off an oil line (dry sump cars) to fit the tube on the passenger side so be ready for that. 2" headers can also be a pain in some cases so it's good to mock them up first and check for any contact points before you bolt them down. Or you can always bring them to us and we'll do the install for you.
