I've had the vibration, 1800 - 2000 RPM, in my C7 for several years and thought it was the torque converter. I've had the flush with the new fluid and that didn't help. However, after reading about the torque tube vibration, I performed a test that I read online. Which states if the vibration occurs while in idle it's not the torque converter but the torque tube. So, I gave it a try and the corvette shakes and vibrates even worse from 1600 - 2300 RPM in idle than driving. Where as while driving the vibration is felt from 1800-2000 RPM's.
So, does this sound like the torque tube?
Can it cause damage to the motor or main bearings from the vibrations coming from the transmission?
I have had a similar vibration in gear and in neutral or park. Always in narrow range of 1800-2200 rpm. Dealer completed PICO testing and determined driveshaft assembly was to be replaced. When that made little difference another PICO test was conducted and new harmonic balancer was installed.
Car still has a minor vibration around same rpm range and dealer seems clueless but assures me drivetrain is as good as new with no vibration. I can only assume vibration is from another source..
Service manager told me you have to expect this in performance cars. Having owned 5-c5s, 3-c6s, 3-c7s, this is only car I have had that experienced this issue..

Thanks for the info!!
I was lying under the car watching the harmonic balancer during idle and thought it had a slight vibration. Maybe I'll look at that first as it might be the issue.
No updates yet. I have the supercharger off waiting for another to replace. Then I'll have to find a shop to replace the harmonic balancer as I'm not able to do it.
So it might be awhile with everything going on.
I appreciate you communicating your experience with the same issue.
