I’ve had mine for 2 years and no problems. Also I got great customer service. He answered my call immediately and took time and called back as well as email. Of course this was when the C7 model first came out.
The guy or company never did call me back. I didn’t want anything from him. I just wondered if he had a fix for what I was trying improve.
I figured out my fix for the lack of flex between the assembly and the motor. I mentioned before that I bought a hump silicone coupler. It gave me the flex I was after. I took apart the whole assembly and used a heat gun to get the lid as straight as I could. I used some round stock under the two star bolts in the lid. The two small bolts with washers would easily crack the thin plastic they tighten against without any support underneath. By the way, the nuts and bolts I replaced the rivets with? They’re outside the air filter. A bolt can’t pass through. A nut in the throttle body is not a good thing. That’s it for me. My problem was solved with a little rework. One thing more, I sanded flat the raised block letters that say “Vararam” and painted the letters in red. I like it. It’s cool. Thanks all.
Glad you worked it out. Still, you shouldn't have had to do all that work.
