How many miles? What mods do you have?

I would start with new rear diff fluid if you haven't done it recently or ever. They are filled low from the factory and fluid looks gross.

im thinking a battery issue first. Your voltage may be dropping during a pull.

Second. see what your R/F tire diameter ratio is. If too far form 1.03 then you may be messing with the stability control systems (although it would usually flash the sliding car light)

im wondering if its battery related also
battery says its at 12.5 or more so maybe intermediate bad cell in it

would i need to change the front to 285/35r19 and would that cause a rubbing issues at stock height on the bolts

You potentially need to have the car tuned for the different tire sizes. If the height difference is too far off the car will think there is a problem with the differential. This is probably what is happening. You need to measure your tire height/diameter/circumference and have the tune updated with the new values.

thats was another thought that i had and i mention to my speed shop who has the car and they said that the tuner says it wouldn't help the situation which i felt he was wrong on that
have you done this and know that it will work on this type of issue?

If you change the tire height ratio between the front and rear too much you will have to tune the car to avoid service rear axle warning but also its a good idea to update the speedometer as well.

it go to 285/35/19 front instead of my current 295/3019
stay with 345/30r19 rears that would be acceptable to the car ???

295/30/19 combined with 345/30/19 is perfectly acceptable. Very common tire sizes. Stock tire ratio is 1.035% and this combo is 1.04%. If those are your sizes, that is not your problem.

Stock Z06 front tires are 25.8" dia and rears are 26.6" dia, a difference of .8" Your 295's are 26" dia and the 345's are 27.2" dia a difference of 1.2". The threshold or maximum differential between front and rear tire dia is 1" and the combo your running exceeds that. A 285 dia is 26.6" so the difference with the 345"s would be .3" well below 1".

The 285 is .4 narrower than the 295 (11.8" vs 11.4")

It's the ratio that matters not the raw numbers.

26.6/25.8 = 1.031 and 27.2/26 = 1.046 which is fine.

Taken from Bill D in another thread: The car doesn't know what diameter tire is installed. It only knows the stock difference in wheel speeds when going down the road in a straight line at a steady speed. Use a ratio to set your tire diameters for the C7 it is the ratio of rear diameter divided by front diameter.
