Nope, you're fine. Those are there and nothing goes in them. They might have been used to align parts during assembly.
Todally wrong! I looked at the picture and thought it was the side of the engine bay. Here's what is there. 2 torx and 2 push pins and a rubber gasket that you are missing.

Yes there should be a torx bolts in that location do not have a part number. They are the same as the ones under the black covers at the front corner of the bumper/fender. There are a total of 4 screws and 2 plastic push pin fasteners across the front. Also you are missing the black rubber seal the goes between the hood and bumper.
