Default Cold air intake
Hi Guys,
I have a friend who insists that his engine temp has dropped since he installed his cold air intake. Does this really occur, or is he just imagining it?

The factory air box is a CAI design. Even so this part would have nothing to do with engine (water) temperature... so I'm going with a solid "no" as my vote. Did he do some other mods or have a data log?

Probably similar to the Butt Dyno. Stickers are worth 5 RHP. CAI does not lower Coolant temp.

He's definitely mistaken. Engine temps would not be affected at all by an aftermarket cold air intake.

no other mods. He’s too busy knowing everything.
