Hey everyone, I have a quick question about the Range Technology AFM Disabler. Last week I had ordered on from Amazon for $194 (The RA003R Model) and the box shows its a 2020 version, but when I plugged it in I noticed the car still switches to V4 mode, not as often but still doing it. I see it on the dash and also of course the exhaust note changes. So I requested a replacement from Amazon and today but it, and the new one is doing the same thing.
I plugged it in before I started the car, so I assume there is not much more I can do wrong correct? LOL
2014 Stingray Z51 in case that matters.

That is the way mine worked, had 16 Stingray with A8, plugged the range device into the port, then cranked the engine and let it run about 2 or 3 minutes, the LED lights starting flashing and went through a start up sequence that lasted less than a minute, never went into V4 again. Pretty much bullet proof if the unit is working correctly.
You need to plug it in and hit the start button without your foot on the brake. Wait a few seconds and then start the car. If you just get in the car and start it the device doesn't work. I called range about mine and that's what they said to do.

I never do that. I just start the car, works every time. 2017 GS, have been running the Range device for about 15k miles now.
You should have bought it directly from Range Technology, not Amazon. I did and have never had a problem. Others have said that Range will work to fix the device when returned with a problem if bought from them.

I am sending both back that were from Amazon, and going to re order from Range Technology directly
I have a 16 z51 since new, started hearing noises from the right side during the period of barely pressing the gas pedal on and off, about when the car is doing its 4/8 decision. I installed the range finder and no more noise and the car shifts better at all times! 21k miles.
