So I'm going the put a lt4 charger on my lt1. I have a kit from a vendor on here and was wondering if changing the cam is something I should look at as well. I don't know the specs of either so if someone does off hand it'd make my choice easier.

You don't need a cam change on the Lt1. I ran a 2300 Maggie on my 16 Camaro without a cam change, if you were to change it I wouldn't consider an Lt4 cam. You'd want to go aftermarket. Many have done this swap with either the Lt4 or aftermarket blower like the Magnuson 2300 or 2650.

That's kinda what i was thinking just wanted some reassurance. I still may go with a TSP cam of some sort with the bigger fuel lobe just to help out a bit though.

If you stay in the 550 rwhp range you can use the Lt1 fuel system without any issues. Once you start heading towards 600 then you need to think about the Lt4 fueling upgrade. I ran my Camaro all the way up to about 875 on the Lt4 HPFP, Injectors and in tank pump. I did have a 38% fuel lobe BTR cam when I built my first short block. But I ran 10.00s@139 with the stock motor and a 2300 Magnuson. But I also ran 10.82@130 with just the 2300 Magnuson blower and a wheel/tire drag pack. That was on my Camaro, I haven't gotten that far with my C7.
