Stock X-Pipe / Intermediate Pipe different between Auto and Manual trans?
Hi,
according to the parts catalogue the stock x-pipe / intermediate pipe is different between C7 with manual and auto transmission.
What exactly is the difference?
Also which varations are there regarding the mufflers?
Is this correct:
Base C7: Only AFM valves
Z51 or base C7 with NPP: AFM Valves and rear Valves
Z06 and Grandsport: Only rear Valves
Or does the Grandsport also have AFM Valves?

Maybe the export Grand Sport models had AFM valves and domestic model didnt?
Export C7 never had skipshift for example...
Anyway what about the stock x-pipe.
Any idea what is the difference between the manual and auto version ?
Is the one for the automatic shaped differently or has some additional heat shielding on it or vice versa?

When I ordered my Borla x-pipe they didn't have models specific to the transmission. So based on that I'd say there is no difference. I would double check with the manufacture of the pipe you are looking just to be safe.
