2015 DIC very dim -all functions work
My 2015 1lt without navigation has had the DIC go very dim but all functions work. Dealer reflashed updated human interface module but didn't help. Interior lighting control will fully work on speedo and tach but will only further dim DIC. Going to setings and then display only shows " calibrate touchscreen" and "power off". There is no "mode" setting to adjust brightness. I guess this part of display only came with cars with navigation. I have been told that screen may be bad; human interface module may be bad; or control switch [ faceplate ] may be bad. Also that voltage to led lights to screen may have a problem. My car has all ZO6 skirts and spoiler, E-Force supercharger, 11000 miles and is 100 point pristine. I have had Corvettes since 1959 and currently have a C6 ZO6, and C8. This is my 1st post and I would appreciate any advice to help with this issue. I live in rural North Carolina and the nearest dealer may sell 1 or 2 Corvettes a year. I really don't want them taking the car apart without knowing what the problem is. Thank you all for your help.
