Improve the handling or just replace the worn out shocks on your C7 Corvette with Bilstein Shocks.
The Heavy Duty Shocks are designed to be the replacement equivalent to your original equipment shocks.
The Sport Shocks offer an increase in stiffness and ant-roll and are ideal for those wanting an affordable way to
improve the handling on their 2014 - 2019 C7. With either choice, you will enjoy the increase in quicker reaction
times, ride quality and tire patch contact.
Can you explain the difference in the B6 shock versus the OEM Z51 shock? I, and others, have searched for this information on the web and have not been able to find anything that details the differences

Thanks!
I have never seen a technical comparison between the two either...sorry
It would cost more to add MRC to your car than selling your car and buying a different car that already has MRC. You should ask yourself why do you want MRC? Do you think it will make your car handle better for track use? Or if you are not into track use, do you want it so you can make your car more comfortable for street use by setting it to tour mode? The base C7 rides very soft and smooth in stock form. That does cause some loss of performance for track or autocross use. But you can improve your base car for performance by adding relatively inexpensive suspension parts. Will it then ride rougher - yes it will, but not terrible. It will feel like a sports car much more so than the cushy base setup.
Will an MRC car outperform a properly setup passive suspension? No - They will both provide excellent performance.
What the MRC really brings to the table is the ability to have it both ways. Soft and cushy when you just want to cruise and lean & mean when you are ready to set some lap records. If that is what you want, MRC is the only way to go.
If you want soft and cushy for normal street driving, you already have it.
If you want max performance, you can put on Z51 shocks and sway bars for well under $1000 and you will be ready to tear up the track.
Thanks for that. I talked to a GM guy, he was telling me about installing new wiring harnesses, computer etc. Then I discovered to take it to the track, I need a rollbar installed. It’s a convertible. Looks like I either have to live with what I got, or look at your suggestions to improve it. (You’re right about just getting another car if that’s the direction I want to go.) I stayed up with the big boys on the street, so I’ll just look at slight improvements Thanks.
