Transmission Tune
What exactly is done in a trans tune? Is it a pert of a regular tune? I've had dyno tunes before but never with a car with an elec control
Trans. I'm taking my car in for a tune at UMS in Phx and just want to get an idea of what to expect.

Unless your going to drag race it I wouldn't mess with it too much. Maybe just a shift pressure change because if you start messing with the torque management too much to make more power you may shorten the life of the tranny because they have a tendency to slip. My 16 Camaro that ran 9.33@148 never had the trans tune changed except for shift pressure and it had over 250 passes down the drag strip and 13,500 miles. I went thru a couple short blocks but the tranny and converter are still in the car with the new owner. So just be careful.
