Getting ready to change the transmission fluid in my 14 with the A6. A buddy of my works at a Chevy dealer so I asked him to pick the fluid up for me since he would get a discount. He gave the parts guy my vin and got the oil. Hover ever when I picked it up it was Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP, I thought that was only for 15 to 16's with A8 that had torque converter issues. Can any one confirm that I really just want to use ACDelco Dexron VI like the manual says, part number 10-9695 or 10-9694.
I seen a post in here that someone posted that GM went to this for all the vettes to help from the problem.. NOW AGAIN I did read that in someone post it may are may not be true.
In my 2014 I use AMSOIL with the add also in it. Robert
Wonder if the ACDelco and the Mobile One are compatible with each other. I believe dropping the pan and pulling the filter only remove like 7qt of the 13qt of transmission fluid, the rest is stuck in the torque converter, will at least that's what I have read. Other thing is I have only owned the car for a little over a year and have no idea what fluid is in it now.
On my 2014, I changed mine, but I used the Dexron VI fluid as I do not know if the Mobil-1 LV ATF is compatible with the A6. This applies to both the internal frictions and seals as well as the original fluid that is still in the converter and cooler.

That were my thoughts too. I am going to use the Dexron VI. I would bet thats what is on it now and I cant find anything telling it should be swapped to the Mobil 1.
