I would really start with a set of aftermarket wires. I run the 12" extra length Speed Engineering as they give you a little extra to be able to move the wire around a little to make sure they don't touch the header tubes. Sometimes its very hard to get the wire end on the plug properly, it takes a little moving it around to make sure it actually clicks on the plug end. You can look very easily at the coil connection to see if they all look equal but its hard to see that on the end of the plug. We've probably all had this problem when putting the old plug wires back on or event the new one. Its also possible when you were installing one of the new plugs you may have cracked the one of the plugs with the socket tightening them down. Hope you get it figured out.

You can put some black grease on your finger and wipe it on the ceramic part of the plug. If cracked it will stand out like a sore thumb.

Good luck

Don’t give up. It took me 3 months to fix the misfire after my header install. The results are worth it. In my case the plugs were cracked, but you couldn’t really tell by looking at them. If you’ve done all the ignition cures then I’d replace the exhaust gaskets.

Good idea, forgot to mention that. Pitman on the ball.

I changed from the stock plug wires to MSD and as noted above there was a world of difference.

I couldn't believe after 25K miles (over 4 years old) the OEM wires were so brittle..

It was easy to do, except the back plug on the passenger side. I reused the shield spring deal.

Based on my experience, I would change plug wires and plugs.

Surely many have already said you likely broke or otherwise damaged a plug... common problem. All the best.
