Well, there is a bad engineering issue in the A8. It seems that the transmission fluid soaks up moisture from the air. It gets to the point when driving along at 70 MPH and you will get a shudder as the car switches from A8 to A4. You can see the RPM snap when it happens. If you put the car in "M" and manually shift and drive, if the fluid is the problem, the shudder will stop as the A8/A4 process is stopped when in "M".
There is a unit called the "Range" device that will plug into the DTC port under the dash and keep the car in A8. This will usually stop the issue but obviously not correct the issue.
There is a TSB that requires the flush to fix the issue. GM found the fluid problem and corrected it in March of 2019.
You have not really defined the problem to us but that's my guess.

YOu might still be in warranty to get the TSB done for free.

Earlier posts are all correct. Get the triple flush done under power train warranty and then install the Range Device from Range Technologies. Probably just a shudder going from V8 to V4 mode because of all GM vehicles having AFM, which is for fuel savings. It is a pain on all GM vehicles with AFM, but easily corrected.
If you order a Range unit, order directly from their site. That ensures that you will get the most current version. I was informed by Range support just today that the unit I ordered a few weeks ago was manufactured in June and has version 9.
Here is some informative reading on the shudder issue. It may help you decide whether or not to purchase a Range unit:

Before you have it flushed you might call the parts department and verify they have the latest, greatest fluid in stock. Then talk to the service manager and ask how they flush it (research it - lots of info on the forum). If all seems in order then expect it to take 3 hours or so and cost somewhere around $700. At least that is the cost for a C7 ZR1. BTW, mine doesn't jerk but used to 'shudder' after fluid warmed up and at steady cruise. It has no cylinder deactivation. Different models of C7 manifest the problem somewhat differently but most are all related to old generation of tranny fluid.
While you are receiving excellent advice regarding the transmission shudder, and it is worth getting the flush if your car is still under the power train warranty, you may not have the shudder.
The shudder is described as akin to driving over rumble strips. Are you experiencing this?
You described the problem, "Its like a little jerk." Can you elaborate on this? Perhaps you have an issue unrelated to the shudder.
