I had one on my 16 SS Lt1 Camaro with 2650 Maggie SC. I had a guy make one out of Aluminum for me and saved my *** when I pushed the rear seal out at the track, caught everything that came out except the little bit that got on the exhaust. Helped me keep it off the wall at 145 mph. There is a company making them for the Lt1 on the Camaro, let me look that up and I post it once I find out. Maybe they are making one for the Corvette also.

if you don’t know anything about Drag Racing I’ll help you out. IHRA AND NHRA rules specify if your car runs 10.5 seconds or less you have to have a Diaper or Belly Pan. Search NHRA Diaper and you will see sever kinds of heavy duty Kevlar and other makes that attach to bottom of engine Block so if you blow a motor or whatever it will catch most of the oil that comes out of oil pan or Block.
If nothing else, get it up in the air and look at it. It shouldn't take that much to fab; if like others I've seen... I suspect it's just a piece of aluminum with some folds and a few mounting holes. All the best.
