I searched the thread forum, but couldn't find anything so forgive me if it has already been resolved. My front wheels/brakes make a clicking sound when making sharp, low speed turns. An example of this is in a parking lot. When I was still under the initial bumper to bumper warranty it happened, a tech was able to tighten something in the general area. I think all he did was torque something to do with the calipers. If anybody here has any ideas of what to other than paying a technician hundreds of dollars to simply remove my rim and torque a bolt, I would greatly appreciate it.
One trick is to grab the wheel by the tire and move it left/ right. Any play or clicking means your bearing is loose.
this works on most cars, min aybe corvette is different.
Sure its the brakes and not the tires which will chatter during low speed tight turns? The calipers are torqued to a pretty high spec, I would check suspension components (mount points, bushing, tie rods, sway bar, etc) or the hubs. I guess it could even be the pads. Check here for more ideas: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...nt-wheels.html lug nut torque and cleaning the mounting surfaces between the rotors and hub is one fix.

Which car do you have. If you have a GS, Z06 or ZR1 the clicking could be the brake rotors. Those models use floating rotors which can be noisy due to the movement of the rotor.
I agree with Ammo and Taz. I get the clicking sound too and can usually temporarily resolve by cleaning the mounting surfaces and torqueing the lug nuts. However the clicking sound comes back after a while. I beleive I saw a TSB on this issue and think they also use something like lithium grease on the mating surfaces. Next time I pull my wheels, I plan to reclean and apply the lubricant.
We solved the issue on our C7 GS by using high temp bearing grease on the mating surfaces on the front wheel. It's been exactly a year this month, and still no clicking. We've put about 5000 miles on it over the last year and a track day.
Here's a vid we made of the process. The video should start at the beginning of the process (2'22").
