Battery symbol in DIC display

Battery symbol in DIC display

I have a very small (looks like flashlight battery display) in the upper portion of my DIC display. Everything seems to be ok but I have no idea what it is and can't find anything online on the the car manuals. thank you for your help.

From the 2015 Owners Manual:

If the light stays on after engine start you have a battery or charging system problem. If you see the Service Battery Charging System message check the cables attached to the battery. There is a small black wire attached to the large black negative cable. When the battery is removed from the car it is easy for that small black wire to be broken as it is a little too short. If that wire is broken that will cause a Service Charging System message.

The display is not the normal battery display. This is very small located in the upper portion of the DIC display area.

Is it your High Beam headlights? Pull the turn signal stalk back towards you if it is.

Could it be a FOB battery going bad notification? My 14 doesn't have that but I've heard later models do report a weak FOB battery.

We NEED a picture!

I was to take a picture of the symbot this morning and low and behold it no longer is there. Thanks to everyone for you help. I hope is gone for good. If it comes back I will post again. thanks again

Is it there when you first start the car? All of the dash lights come on at start up to prove they are still working. If you see it on startup, snap a picture so we can see what you are talking about.
