99% of guys with C7 Z’s are running bead locks stock and modified cars. I have Forgestar 18” D5’s with bead locks with mid 600 rwhp on my C7 Procharged Stingray. Ide say even with a stock Z on a drag pack I would run the bead lock(s). Mine are only the single outer bead locks. If $ isn’t any issue just buy them and if and along the way of mods and power you push the power there is one less thing to worry about. They also look badazz
I got beadlocks mid 500's NA because I couldn't find a decent tire installer that wouldn't use lube when mounting my radials. (I mark the valvestem location on the tire).
I have them on my 2016 Z06 and at roughly 1K ft lbs of torque they became beneficial, but, as stated earlier, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go ahead and get them now. Just be sure what tires you put on them. I have MT R's on 18's and the car can't be driven safely in the rain. I have MT SS's 19's on my 19 ZR1 and they do pretty good in rain as long as you keep the pressure up and replace them when they get close to the wear bars.
