A8 question
im having issues with my early (2015) A8. i was looking at 17 up transmissions and i'm seeing transmissions with a 5USL stickers on the side. i thought the M5U was the label on these. am i missing something can someone explain what transmission i am looking for for a direct swap. i cant find any info on the 5USL designation. thanks.

I just bought a 2018 Z06 with the A8 I know they have changed the recommended fluid for these in 2016 to a lower viscosity and it appears that in late 2016 they made some minor hardware and software tweaks to the transmission. It is possible that the change in markings reflects the change in fluid and hardware in the transmission. I would suggest you reach out to a chevy dealership and inquire about the fitment for the new transmission in your model I would expect it will but always better to confirm.
