C7 A6 trans tuning
Ordering my first bolts on mods soon getting long tubes and e85 flex fuel kit. I know i will need an engine tune but wondering if it will be worth touching the TCM with these mods.
Most shops around me charge a decent amount for trans tunes so trying to find out how well these perform with some tuning to decide if it will be worth it or not. I know in the C6 a trans tune helps quite a bit from what i have read but i've also read how different the A6 is in the C7.
Also i am in the DFW area so if you know any reputable tuners around here i would appreciate it.

Unless you plan on doing a lot more mods to go racing, don't bother with a trans tune. Not every tuner knows how to do it so it doesn't cause eventual problems.

My tuner is in Nashville, tn same guy that has my car. He did great on the trans tune on my A6...He did it over a year ago and I really can tell a diff in the shift points in it.. Robert

Maybe he could do a mail tune for me to flash when I start the modding next year.
