Yeah car is black, so black bumper to the black grill wouldn’t show much with black zip ties. But, I already ordered a bumper and grill (thanks to ScottKolek for that suggestion). Planning to get them installed after track season is over and plastic weld or epoxy that joint where the tabs break. Then Xpel it all before next track season starts and hope for the best.
Figured I’d update this thread…2+ years later…with what I hope will be a good solution. The bumper had to be replaced because all the clips were broken where it snaps into the lower edge of the grill, and the rivets in the splitter had ripped large tears in the bumper. So while the bumper was getting replaced I cut these brackets out of aluminum and bolted them to the frame. Then installed 5/16” threaded rods up thru the splitter. I’ve also ordered a piece of 1/4” aluminum plate to spread the weight out across 34” of area…the cardboard in the last picture is the template for that. Also, planning to paint all the hardware behind the grill matte black.
If you were going through all that effort why not buy a real splitter and undertray that makes some serious downforce instead of the small amount the stage 3 makes?
It’s not a dedicated track car. That would never make it out of my driveway. Also, once you start changing downforce then you may have to change spring rates, etc.

You're right, it wouldn't make it make of a driveway and suspension would need a second look...
Sounds like you know what your doing ill leave you to it love what you did though, you were thorough and made it much better than stock. Love it.

Thanks! But on the contrary, I have no clue what I'm doing!! Glad it came across like I did!

Yeah I met someone at a track day at Watkins Glen that had one and I checked it out...he does do nice work!
We run his splitter and wing on our time attack car, we also made a diffuser and vented the front end quite a bit and we make half our cars weight in downforce. His stuff is very well made, sturdy, and very functional.
