My 2016 zo6 has its original battery. Looking to replace it prior to taking some long trips this fall as a precaution.
Put an original style AC Delco in my 2007 C6 zo6.
Just wondering if there is anything that is much better than the original AC Delco!
I don't know but I'm sure an "Advanced Search" across the C7 sections would disclose an answer. Or, simply see if Delco lists an upgraded, higher-spec version of the same size(series).
Thanks for the feedback. I have a C6 ZO6 also and just replaced its battery late last year and it was a pain in the a_ _. Looked at my C7 ZO6 and it even looks worse for replacement. Amazing what a handle on the top would do for ease of replacement as shown on the battery in the last two post.
In addition to Odyssey, which is a great battery, Northstar also offers a suitable AGM in their NSB-AGM48/L3. (No first-hand experience in my C7Z yet, but I remain pleased with the Northstar AGM I've had in my Tacoma for several years.)
I went with an East Penn battery (they sell under various brands). US made (AGM) and 6 years running strong in my other SUV. I used a battery post strap to get the Delco out. Why GM didnt put handles on the battery is why I didnt go back to OEM.

I've had that battery for a couple of years now without any problems
