My understanding is that there are few gears available. I think I remember a thread about doing this w/ aftermarket gears and it didn't leave me with the feeling that it was a good idea. Also, while I know there are slight differences in gears between my base and your GS, but I wouldn't want any taller gears in mine. For more traction I'd look at tires.
