I am looking to add electric cutouts to my 2016 Stingray w/NPP and I am having no luck finding a company that has an electric cutout kit for the C7? I see QTP is a well known company and has a kit for the C6 and other gens...but not the C7. Does anyone know why this is?
Does the C7 OEM exhaust setup not allow for a cutout or something?
If you have NPP, why do you want cutouts? Just change the setting to Track in Engine Sound Management and you should have close to same effect without adding more complexity/cost.
I would say it is more a question of demand. The NPP exhaust provides full-time straight pipe capability when the exhaust is set in permanent track mode. The only time it will close is when the engine switches to 4 cylinder operation and you don't want to hear the 4 banger noise anyways.

Cutouts are not car specific , I am sure an competent exhaust shops could mount the C6 cutouts on the C7 as the pipe diameter is close .
The problem is where do you mount them because the pipes run down the enclosed tunnel and when they exit they are tightly wrapped around the transmission ( Just changed my trans fluid so u can take this as a fact 😁 )
I had them installed on my C7...and it melted my leafspring in maybe 30 min of driving so I upgraded to coilovers....if you have a shop install it in yours make sure it exhausts away from the rear spring otherwise youre gonna have a bad time
