On my one LT basic exhaust there are actuators on the exhaust pipe just about a head of the axle . Now I just bought two replacement mufflers with the valves in them. My question is is that actuator the same actuator that you would use on the muffler?
next question. Does anyone have a wiring schematic of the actuator I'm assuming it has a 12 Volt motor in it.
I just installed the Z06 npp muffs on my base stingray 2015 and they sound awsome! just what i was hoping for. and as a bonus they are barely audible inside while driving. and real quiet when cruise control is on. so i wasted money on the actuators.

Reason: dont need to close them.
As Jeff said, the front actuators are the AFM actuators for the cylinder deactivation. The ones on the mufflers are the NPP actuators for the dual mode exhaust. Just a FYI if you dont have the NPP option from the factory those wont do you any good, you cant retrofit them onto a non-NPP and get them to work. If you install them they will be in "Open or Race" mode the entire time.
