US C7 enable rear fog light

Hi guys,
I moved 2 years ago back to germany and took my 2016 C7 Z51 with me...
SO far so good. I got already the german registration a while ago.
In Europe you need a rear fog light. I did actually an installation with an additional switch, but I dont like the look of it.
Thats why I want make it working over the BCM. Im aware that the Euro Vette has another turn signal switch (ordered) and other tail lights. I would connect my additional fog light to the BCM.
Is there a way to activate the RPO code T79 in the BCM? Or might it work without doing anything to the BCM? I do have a HPTuner...

I appreciate any hints and suggestions...

I am interested as well since I may be moving to Germany and want to take my 2018 Z06. Where are you located?

I'd recommend leaving the BCM out of it since you already have put together a workable system/circuit. I think this would save you some headaches unless someone has successfully done this before and speaks up. I'd suggest finding a lighting option you prefer and wire it into your arrangement. There are a couple faux light areas where the back-up lights are (at least in St'rays); perhaps, you could work out something to put into them? They could be made to not show at all if not on. Best of luck.

HPT does not have access to the BCM, so it wont be able to help you out at all. GM also wont allow the BCM to have its firmware updated to anything other than what it was setup for from the factory, so you wont be able to get very far with any BCM changes.
